In the garden today

The past two days we have had a thaw. Its about 50 degrees out and the snow is melting. I just took a few minutes to poke around the yard and see what’s happening. A lot of trash and debris had blown into the yard and been buried by the snow. I went around and cleaned up. When I went over to look in the vegetable garden I noticed some little orange spots in the dirt. This is what I pulled out:

What a cute little carrot! Also, the scallions are still green and plentiful. Pretty soon I’ll be planting carrots again!
