Fruit Trees

Last spring we planted 14 fruit trees from Miller Nurseries. All arrived as bare root stock. I’m happy to report that 13 of the 14 trees have survived their first winter. Our peach trees even had beautiful pink blossoms this spring and are now producing peaches!

On our other mature fruit trees we have fruit forming. Some apples:

Pear:

I am disappointed at the lack of fruit on the pear tree. Last year we were swamped with pears- hundreds and hundreds from one tree. This year it looks like slim pickins. Perhaps this pear tree is a heavy producer every other year.
