Vegetable Garden Progress

The vegetable garden is now about 90% planted out. We need to finish planting one more type of pumpkins and re seed some spinach, arugula, and carrots. Most of the beds are even weeded, but some need to be done.

We are eating rhubarb, herbs, swiss chard, lettuce, radish, and sugar snap peas.

Our first garden bed:

We broke ground on what will be our main vegetable garden. This is what the field looked like before:

After we cleared out all the sod, we brought in 6 wheel barrel loads of composted leaves:

Once the beds were made we planted the soaked pea seeds:

We tamped down the seeds and filled the beds with pea brush for the little plants to climb on. Then we watered the beds:
